    History Filter

LG, I really like the History filter, and I often use it to reject 4, 5, and 6 from the past 200 draws. Sometimes I will reject 5, and 6 for all the past draws, and this is accurate over 90% of the time for BC-49 and Canada 649. They both generate significant reductions. My question is.....can both be done, that is, can I reject 4, 5, and 6 for the past 200 draws, and additionally reject 5, and 6 for all past draws? Or do I have to make choice of one or the other? Re: History Filter

Absolutely Deighton, you can do both and much more than that. Click on 'Options' and select 'Enable Advanced Build Options'. Select your filters, click 'Build Lines' and select 'Normal Build'.

Clear your filters and add your new History filter or any other filters you like. Click 'Build Lines' and this time select 'Apply Filters to Current List Only'. Your new filters will go only through the lines already created from the previous build. You can continue clearing and adding filters and building as many times as you like. One warning, don't select conflicting filters i.e you cannot have Odd-Even 2-3 in one set and then 3-3 in a different one as you will end up with no lines except if you select on build 'Add Previous Lines to Build List'.

One History filter that might be useful is 'Accept 2' in the last few draws, up to 10.

Genius.......Is a word that surely describes all you folks that developed the LotWin program.  Just when I begin to think that I am familiar with all the capabilities of LotWin, then I learn of another powerful feature.

Thanks for the History filter tutorial.  I will also try that filter you mentioned going back 10 draws only accepting a max of 2 per draws. I did a number of random checks for BC49 and Can 649, and it looks really good where the draw being checked regulary returning not more than 2.  This helps a lot because it will shave a lot of combos.

A filter that you may find interesting, is if the numbers are grouped by their present 'games out' or 'misses' then for the next draw, no more than 2 is drawn from each group. There is 100% correct for BC-49 for the past 29 draws, from 31 May.

Hi Deighton would appreciate you explain this a little more simpler for me, I am not quite understanding  it.

if the numbers are grouped by their present 'games out' or 'misses' then for the next draw, no more than 2 is drawn from each group. There is 100% correct for BC-49 for the past 29 draws, from 31 M

    Re: History Filter

    1.         Bear with me here, this a lengthy post.  The ‘games out’ or ‘misses’ are terms use to describe the amount of draws that has occurred since a number was last drawn.  There are a number of ways to obtain this data.  One way is to simple take a look at the history chart from LotWin, ( from the pulldown menu ‘window’ then ‘draw statistics’) and starting with number 1, count the number of draws back to where it last made a hit.  That number is what is meant by ‘misses’.  If the number has been currently drawn, then you would assign it a 0, if it was drawn 2 draws ago, then it would be assigned 1, (because 1 draw occurred since last drawn)  3 draws ago, it’s assigned 2 ……….and so on.

    2.         Another way to obtain this data is by building and maintaining a chart as follows,

                            a. Make a squared grid on an 81/2 X 11 sheet. This can be done using

Word, by selecting from the pull-down menu ‘Table’ then ‘insert’, then

‘table’. Generate 50 rows, and 26 columns.

    b. In each column at the top insert the draw dates, (use text vertical).

Since you haven’t been keeping a running chart, make your first date 10

draws ago. You should get 25 draws across the top of your chart.

                            c.  In the rows at the left, enter the numbers 1 to 49.

    d.      In the column under the draw date, enter the hits with a red X.  Now at

this point, you would have to count back through the history so see

how many misses occurred in order to fill in the missing rows in that

first column at the left.  Note…I don’t enter a red X for the bonus, I

indicate it with a small red B, and the count for that number is still

increased. After you have finished the first column, it is just a matter of

then entering the draw hits and continuing the ‘misses’ count by

inserting the number in pencil.  This makes for very good visual

contrasts, and it is then easy to pick out the misses, the  bonuses among

        other things.

    3.                  The chart will make it easy to pick out the misses at 0 (which are the 6 hits

from the last draw), the 1 misses, the 2 misses…. etc etc.

    4.                  The data supports that a high percentage of no more than 2 are drawn from each of these groups. A supporting example, the BC 49 for the past 25 draws starting at the 4 Jun, this proves correct 23 times (92%).  These groups can be put into LotWin using the number filters, and ‘number sets’ and set for min 0 and max 2.

    5.         If you have any problems with any of this we can discuss further.  Also there are a number of other variations to this that produces significant reductions and that is also accurate at the 90% plus. This can be discussed later.

    6.        Hoping this helps.

    Cheers

thank you Deighton  for this reply. I will try and follow  your example.

I can now understand more clearly where you are coming from.
